Ausgehend von der Performance und Ausstellung auf der 57. Internationalen Kunstausstellung – La Biennale di Venezia, ist das Album Faust teils Aufzeichnung, teils Ausarbeitung der Aufführung: die akustische Dokumentation und Weiterführung ihrer Gesten, Intensitäten und Dauer. Wie ein dramaturgisches Gerüst lag der Soundtrack der mehrstündigen Performance im Deutschen Pavillon 2017 zugrunde und ist dabei Ergebnis des Kollektivs wie seiner Individuen. Geschrieben wurde er von Anne Imhof gemeinsam mit Billy Bultheel, Eliza Douglas und Franziska Aigner.
Der Eintritt in das MMK ist frei.

Das gemeinsam mit dem Deutschen Pavillon 2017 und der Galerie Buchholz veröffentlichte Album kann über das Plattenlabel PAN bestellt werden und ist am 5. Dezember im MMK erhältlich.

Deriving from the performance and exhibition—staged by Anne Imhof at the 57th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia—the album Faust is part documentation and part elaboration, the sonic capture and extrapolation of the gestures, intensities, and durations of the live event. Serving as the dramatic backbone of the several-hour long performance at the 2017 German Pavilion, the soundtrack was a product of the collective and its individuals, written by Anne Imhof and her collaborators Billy Bultheel, Eliza Douglas, and Franziska Aigner.
Admission to MMK is free.
